Bernee Dunson D.D.S.
Dr. Dunson was born in Albany, Georgia, and is a third generation graduate of Morehouse College. After completing his undergraduate studies with a degree in biology in 1987, he entered the dental program at the University of Southern California (USC), where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1991.
He then attended Columbia University’s general dentistry residency program at Harlem Hospital in New York. After completing the residency, Dr. Dunson returned to Georgia, and in 1992, he began practicing as an associate in Atlanta. At the same time, he served as a resident in the oral implantology residency program at Loma Linda University (LLU) in California, traveling to the West Coast one week out of each month for three years. The experience culminated in a graduate certificate from LLU in oral implantology in 1997.
He also has an IV and oral conscious sedation certificate from Miami Valley Medical College in Dayton, Ohio, making him one of the select few restorative dentists in Georgia who are certified and licensed to do IV sedation. Dr. Dunson started his own practice as a general, restorative and cosmetic dentist in Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1996.
Dr. Dunson remains actively interested in the latest developments in his discipline. In October 2008, he was one of nine dentists nationwide awarded and honored as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. In November 2009, he was one of eleven members to gain the distinction of Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), the Fellowship status is the highest credential distinction bestowed by the AAID, the first professional dental implant organization. He continues to publish articles in dental journals and lecture.
Due to Dr. Dunson’s extensive training and expertise, he has started the Atlanta Academy for Restorative Dentistry. He, along with a Dr. Richard Borgner, teaches a hands-on learning Implant Surgical Series. Dentists have traveled from all over the United States to learn surgical techniques from Dr. Dunson.
Dr. Brandon Lynch
Dr. Brandon Lynch, is a skilled general dentist practicing at Smile Source Atlanta East,located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He considers it a distinct honor to help improve the smiles and oral health of individuals living in and around the East Atlanta area.
Dr. Brandon attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Brandon attended the prestigious Morehouse College. While studying at USC, Dr. Brandon volunteered form any community clinics and on mission trips abroad that had goals to alleviate health disparities by providing health care to underserved communities.
At Smile Source Atlanta East, Dr. Brandon and his team offer an array of services that have the capacity to transform your smile and overall health. These services include a complement of routine dental services such as crown and bridge, veneers, full and partial dentures, clear aligners, extractions, dental implants, root canals, and sleep apnea appliances. Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Brandon is an avid outdoorsman. During his spare time, he can be found fishing bass tournaments throughout the Southeast, hiking trails, traveling to new places, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Fabian Byer
Dr. Fabian Byer earned his dental degree from SUNY @ Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, N.Y. Post graduation, he completed a general practice residency at Buffalo General Hospital.
Originally from Barbados, his passion for dentistry was ignited at a young age as he watched a loved one endure the challenges of living without teeth and being unable to afford dental care. The first of his immediate family to graduate from high school, he left his home at 19 years old to further his education here in America.
He enjoys teaching and was a clinical instructor at his dental school before moving to the Atlanta area. Dr. Byer has served as a general dentist to a diverse population, including the developmentally challenged, children, military personnel, uninsured immigrants and nursing home residents. He loves getting to know people from all cultures and backgrounds. His core values include honesty, compassion, integrity, discipline and humility.
One of his primary goals is to educate patients about the value of a healthy and stable oral cavity. This can profoundly affect our self-esteem, confidence, and overall quality of life.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Byer is a devoted family man and sports enthusiast. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and pet Pekingese and is committed to his personal growth and development journey, striving to be the best version of himself. His philosophy is keep it simple, always believe in yourself and be grateful for what you have.
